In times long past some evil magicians developed this deadly spell to overcome their enemies. In recent history, the use of this useful spell has become quite common, though. The spell is stored on runes but the disadvantage is that since the rune just hurts a single being it is difficult to use against moving targets. But since every single rune is quite precious, the developers of the spell made sure that the rune doesn't unleash its power if the target was missed.
The rune is very useful in any fight, but especially useful in fights where the target doesn't move. Either that the caster himself is able to face his opponent or fellow adventurer distracts it. Only sorcerers are allowed knowledge of this special spell and have to pay 3000 gold coins to be allowed access to the teaching.
You need to have a magic level of at least 25 to cast this spell, and it takes 220 mana. The originating rune can be used once by persons of magic level 15 or higher. |
