The poison wall rune is usually the first wall-spell to be learned. In times long past it also was the most often used protection wall since no creature dared to cross it and it was not only cheaper but also longer lasting than the energy wall. These days, some poison resistant creatures and the very strongest monsters don't fear this wall any more, reducing its value somewhat.
It is very useful in somewhat open surroundings, especially since it doesn't do too much damage, should the adventurer have the need to flee through it. This spell is available to sorcerers and druids for 1600 gold coins.
You need to have a magic level of at least 11 to cast this spell, and it takes 160 mana. The originating rune can be used 4 times by persons of magic level 5 or higher. |
