This spell is an advancement of the Poison Field spell. A greater area is contaminated by poisonous gas that will poison anyone who dares to walk through it, until the gas dissipates after some minutes.
Besides blocking passages, you can use this spell for directly poisoning other creatures, because you can hit even very fast opponents due to the large area of contamination. But note that some creatures are immune against it. The magicians of Edron, who developed this spell, teach it to druids for 1000 gold coins.
You need to have a magic level of at least 8 to cast this spell, and it takes 130 mana. The originating rune can be used 2 times by persons of magic level 4 or higher. |
