This spell unfolds enormous energy in a wave, that spreads to some degree as it lashes out. Its vast destructive force has some demands on the spellcaster since it requires considerable magical abilities and drains the power of the caster to a greater degree. Thus it is a dangerous spell not only to the enemy, but also to the caster, who often is rendered nearly defenseless after casting this spell.
It is very useful in hit and run attacks and in close quarters since the caster has to face his opponents. Because of its destructive nature its use is prohibited to all but sorcerers and its study has to be payed with 2500 gold coins.
You need to have a magic level of at least 20 to cast this spell, and it takes 250 mana. |
